Loving Jesus Christ
Centrality of Christ - It is our desire for Christ to be lifted up, to be the center of everyone's attention, the focus of their affection, and the target of their passion.
Christians - That we would not be known for being Christians, but instead, known as "followers of Jesus".
Church - We want a church, a powerful, pure church, full of the love and grace of God, exempt from "Christian rules and traditions" to be raised up; that we woul return to our roots in Acts and walk forth in the manner that God leads us through the Holy Spirit. We want to be His body, the precious Church, His bride that Christ went to the cross to preserve. We want to be a dynamic, revolutionary, movement without walls where truth goes forth, yet built upon grace. We want the church to live beyond one generation, where the next generation is walking in twice the annointing and power.
Commitment - May we always be committed to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Demonstration - We want the love of Christ to so radiate from us, His church, that it would be like a powerful "tractor beam" attaching to those round about and draw then into the center of what God is doing, causing them to be born again.
Edification - We want to be those that encourage people to love Jesus Christ and live a life worthy of the gospel.
Faith - Our prayer is that we enter a relationship with God where He will cause faith to arise, not only during times of blessing, but during times of trials, as He uses all things for our good.
Grace - It is He who is sovereign and provides us unmerited favor. He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and will glorify us. It is God, through His Holy Spirit, who will never leave us or forsake us, but will use everything for godd for those who are called of Hims.
Healing - We pray that there would be an expectation to see God meet His people in times of need, healing physical, psychological, and spiritual ailments.
Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully active today as He was in the first century church, leading us into all truth and power that is outlined in the Bible.
Glorified - It is our desire that God be glorified, forever and ever and ever in all things that we do.
Legalism - We want legalism to flee as grace chases it.
Love - It is our goal to walk in the love that God has deposited in our hearts and develop as intimate a relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as possible, seeking after God and loving Him with all their heart, mind, and soul.
Praise and Worship - We believe that it is very important to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit individually and every time we gather.
Prayer - We strive to enter into an attitude of prayer without ceasing so that we can develop and maintain intimate relationships with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Priority - It is important that all have chosen to make God their life; that He is not part of a priority system - but is THE priority - the very essence and fiber of their life.
Relationships - It is our desire to have an intimate relationship with the triune God.
Resurrection - That when Christ returns, each member of this church is caught up with Him to receive their rewards and to hear those great words, "Well done good and faithful servant".
Scripturally Based - May God protect us so that we believe, practice and follow only that which is found in His Holy Scriptures and that we may not add anything or take anything away from that which He has proclaimed.
Trinity - We want to be about God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
